The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

The prompt for today was to write a 450 word piece using the word sand as inspiration.  I have my rough draft nearly done and I’ll do my editing and then post the finished story in the next couple of days.  In the meantime, please enjoy this movie trailer for The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.  I saw it yesterday, and I can’t recommend it enough. I can say without hesitation that it’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time.

Happy Friday, all of you dear readers of mine! Have a wonderful day!

  1. Valerie, I love coming to your blog because of your upbeat loveliness...

I do want to see this film so badly...it came for just one night in my town, and that was the night of a big sporting event I couldn't miss (because I made the dinner!) ...but I will surely look around in other theaters.

  4. I'd been wondering about this movie and am so glad to hear good things. I think it may still be playing around here (although I do so hate how quickly they seem to move stuff out!). Can't wait to read the sand story.

  6. I saw that our theater had this when we went to see "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and I wondered what is was about. It's not there anymore which is a shame because after watching the trailer I really want to see it. I think I will just go ahead and buy it when it comes out!
